Jumpers

Jumpers are common universal connection devices for measurement or testing. These connectors will offer solid, semi-permanent connections between instruments with a maximum of safety and reliability. The are, however, electrically noisy and may be unsafe at power voltage levels and should only be used for temporary connections. The preferred technique is to use a jumper with a connector matching the post jack or other terminal to which it is desired to connect.
